A summer session for the Shipbrokers and Shipagents Dinner

The countdown for
the fourteenth edition of the Shipbrokers and Shipagents Dinner has begun. Same
location for the 3,000 guests expected, Jean Nouvel pavilion at Fiera di
Genova, and a save the date fixed a little in advance with respect to tradition,
30th June 2017. Everything unchanged, or nearly so, for one of the
most awaited social events in the maritime sector, which since 1992 is
organized by Assagenti, the Genoese association of agents and brokers and his
Youth Group.
"We are
facing an unpredictable and thorny period - says Aldo Negri, president of
Assagenti Young Group –the only thing we are sure about is that the shipping
sector is changing fast. Some companies are suffering, especially in dry and
liner markets, and we are all doing efforts to get over this crisis. I think
that our Dinner represents an opportunity for doing so, gathering together from
all over the word, discussing, sharing experiences and confronting each other.
It’s a great instrument for our companies, our port system and our city".
The
Shipbrokers and Shipagents thirteenth edition brought together 3000 guests
coming from 52 Countries and representing 1250 companies; about 67 Sponsors and
a floor area of almost 7000 sqm.
